Collin Mullins
Born and raised in Galveston Texas, Collin moved to Austin after high-school to pursue a career in music. Guitar in hand, and with some amazing backing from drummer Thomas, and bassist Chris Spencer, Collin creates an energetic yet dynamic musical experience that must be heard. The recordings remind us of The Mars Volta, maybe even Rush. Powerful bass lines and a killer drum beat lay way for Collins guitar to layer and solo, creating an all encompassing recording that must be heard.Ripe Honey
Fronting Ripe Honey, European born singer-songwriter Samantha Lynn plays on the vibes of 60's folk, reminiscent of Janis Joplin or Bob Dylan with a modern twist. Samantha's lyrics are powerful and vocals demand your attention, while her guitar strums and carries the melody. Ripe Honey's recordings try to capture the classic vibes of early folk artists, with the quality that modern technology provides us. Playing in bars, dance halls, and venues around Austin, Samantha is a fantastic show to see live, as well as listened to on album.Mind at Large
Austin Texas based rock powerhouse Mind At Large may be new in the scene (having formed in 2012), but are already proving to be a force to be reckoned with. Mind at Large delivers energetic, and well crafted songs with immense staying power. From lead vocalist Bryan Kunke's gritty and powerful voice to the melodic instrumentation (provided by Mike Blakey on lead guitar, Mike Culinnan on bass, and Joey Mauro on drums.) Mind at Large's music will prove hard to keep out of your head!Foxy Dangerous
Hard Rock at its finest, and fronted by female vocalist Maranda Stamm, Foxy Dangerous is a heavy guitar driven rock band with soaring female vocals, powerful guitar riffs, deep bass lines and head-bang worthy drums. Playing in the local Austin venues and opening for acts such as Slash(Guns & Roses, Velvet Revolver), Maranda leads audiences through a power-house rock show with soulful, soaring vocals, while Mark Sean heads up guitar riffs that might remind you of Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath. Cody Griffin is in the back on the drum kit, followed by Gonxo Marin laying down heavy bass and drums to complete this rock group. A band all its own and a must see live venue attraction, promising a stimulating live experience with original rock music.The Brothers Vinyl
The Brothers Vinyl's unique and catchy songs branch off into territories unknown, defining their own sonic identity. Having come together in early 2012 (with Kyle Seigel on vocals/guitar, James Gibson on guitar/harmony vocals, Kyle Hayes on bass, and Josh Drew on drums), Brother's Vinyl have already established a devout fan base here in Austin, as well as fans from all over the world. The band states on their website "the most important step is the next one we take", and with so much accomplished in such a short period of time, you can expect big things on the way from Brothers Vinyl.Ergoline
If you like swirly, heavy, psychedelic sounds, now hear this! Ergoline is a psychedelic rock trio consisting of band members Kurt Huffman on Bass and vocals, Matt Wombat on guitar and vocals, and Jack Alden Woodstar heading up percussion. Inspired by bands such as The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Sonic Youth, Ergoline creates a driven psychedelic sound-scape that you can sink into. Jack keeps time on drums like a metronome, followed with driving bass lines from Kurt and topped with swirly guitar tones from Matt. Ergoline sounds great on record or at one of their live shows. Frontier live started as an offshoot of the Soul Tree Collective project, and have since gone on to preform their fusion of hip-hop combined with their R&B/Neo-Soul roots at venues across Austin. Frontier Live have also been announced to be preforming at Austin's annual South by South West festival this year(SXSW-2013)! The members of this group are all extremely talented musicians (Tyrell Elegonye on vocals and guitar, Jimmy Blazer on bass and keys, and Thomas Wheeler on drums) with their own innovative and interesting sound.
